2026.6.18 – “Presentation” (from the Job-Hunting Seminar)
This semester, students worked in teams to deliver presentations based on a theme provided in April by Mr. Hiroshi Kakimoto, Executive Director of the Japan Asia Human Resources Association, who has extensive experience addressing issues related to the employment of foreign workers.
The presentation theme was:
“Examining the changes to the Technical Intern Training Program, the introduction of the Employment for Skill Development System (Ikusei Shūrō), and the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa, and considering the current challenges.”
In recent years, Japan’s policies and regulations regarding the employment status of foreign workers have undergone significant changes. As a result, the realities of workplaces that employ foreign nationals are also evolving.
For international students who plan to work in Japan, this project provided a valuable opportunity to gain a correct understanding of these changes, recognize how they relate to their own future, and reconsider the significance of working in Japan.
