2024.09.10 “Presentation” (Job hunting Seminar)
We welcomed Mr. Daiki Hakoishi from the human resources department of Okumura Engineering Corporation, a major construction company, and gave a presentation. The labor shortage caused by population decline is a serious problem not only in the construction industry but in all industries. Hiring excellent foreign talent and utilizing them as human resources is a major issue for companies. As the number of foreign employees is increasing in this company, we divided into four groups and thought about how to increase the number of foreign employees, and prepared to give a good presentation to him.
Students were strictly evaluated from the perspective of a business person on whether the perspective unique to foreigners was reflected, how much concrete ideas were presented, whether the flow of the presentation was easy to understand, whether they supported each other as a team, how their language, attitude, and presentation skills when speaking in public were good, etc. They did their best to make it real-world skills. The group with the highest level of completion of the content had a high quality presentation, and received words of prase from Mr. Hakoishi that It was really fun and useful.
