2023.9.14 “Field Study” (Job Hunting Seminar)
In this semester’s Business class, we visited the “Osaka Entrepreneur Museum” and gained an understanding of the history of Osaka as a business hub and the passionate entrepreneurs who contributed to it. For international students who previously had a limited perception of “Osaka” as a place known for its lively atmosphere, open-mindedness, and historical landmark Osaka Castle, exploring the roots of these impressions helped deepen our understanding of the city we now call home—Osaka.
Furthermore, we were deeply impressed to learn that many of the 105 entrepreneurs who left their mark on the Osaka economy embodied qualities such as “never giving up until you succeed” and “failure is an enriching life experience.” This knowledge has greatly heightened our motivation to pursue our respective goals in this place called Osaka.
