2022.11.7 「Welcoming a Guest Speaker」(Job-hunting seminar)
This term face to face lecture, we invited Mr. Ryoichi Hashimoto, who has become independent from a major travel agency and runs his own travel agency while also being active as a lecturer and director at universities and travel associations.
After receiving an easy-to-understand explanation of the structure and products of travel agencies and the industry, he introduced in an interesting way, giving specific examples of the ingenuity and efforts of each tourist spot that has changed to become more attractive as an example of regional revitalization. The discovery of regional attractions and ideas for regional revitalization in anticipation of inbound tourism in the future was a very informative topic for the presentation at the end of this term.
After that, there was a question-and-answer session about the key points of human resources who can be active in the travel industry, and what the potential of foreigners who are active in the industry was.
We will give a presentation at the end of this term on the assignment “What should I do to promote the appeal of Osaka to foreign tourists?”
