2026.9.10 – “Presentation” (from the Job-Hunting Seminar)
This time, we gave a presentation on “The Global Expansion of Young Japanese Musicians,” a project proposed by Mr. Motomyoshi Yasukawa (安川元祥) of OTOGULA Kansai (音蔵カンサイ).
The group “Spreegal (スプリーガル),” which performed at the Japan Festival in Canada this summer, was used as the subject of the presentation. As the results and challenges of their activities had become clear, the students took on the presentation with high expectations from Mr. Yasukawa.
The students were divided into four teams and gave presentations based on their own materials, covering topics such as musician analysis, target-market analysis, methods for expanding overseas, and financial estimates.
Some students also mentioned that they like J-POP. Although the preparation period was short, each team demonstrated its own individuality and was able to deliver a strong presentation.
They were also required to respond to challenging questions such as, “What is your Plan B?” Every member of each team needed to understand the issues as their own and be able to answer the questions. The students were able to respond confidently and appropriately.
By cooperating as a team, completing the work together, and having the opportunity for everyone to present in front of an audience, the students were able to gain valuable learning experiences.
