2026.1.23 ”Welcoming a Guest Speaker (From the Job Hunting Seminar)”
This term, we invited Mr. Fumitaka Echizen, Deputy General Manager of HR and Management Administration at AVAVCE Co., Ltd., a company that operates multiple corporations in the service and real estate industries, as our guest speaker. He spoke about how foreign employees work in the service industry and the concept of “Omotenashi” (Japanese hospitality). By sharing real-life examples—such as foreign employees (graduates of our school) who are currently working in managerial positions—he also discussed the mindset necessary for career advancement after employment, helping students deepen their understanding.
In addition, the session provided an opportunity to reconsider what the often-heard term “Omotenashi” truly means, and many students felt they gained a clearer and deeper understanding of the concept than before.
Based on this lecture, students will give presentations on the assigned topics in early March.
