Regular course

List of tuition fees for regular courses

* The fee of textbooks, activities such as field trip are included in the Tuition fee.
* For business class, the transportation fee for activities are additionally required.
* The Liability insurance coverage is included in Maintenance fee.
* We do not give refunds except following cases :
1. If the COE is not successfully issued, the paid amount excluding apply fee will be refunded.
2. If the application of entry visa is not admitted by overseas establishments, as long as the school admission certification and any confirmation documents regarding to the failure of applying entry visa are provided, the paid amount excluding apply fee will be refunded.
3. Before entering Japan, if students decline to enter school due to own circumstance, we will refund the paid amount excluding apply fee only if the COE and school admission certification are returned.
4. The period from entering Japan to the entrance ceremony, if students decline to enroll the school due to own circumstance, apply fee, entrance fee and cancellation fee (equal to 3 months tuition fee) will be deducted.After we confirm the student returning back to home country (Require to provide any confirmation document of returning such as departure stamp on passport), the remaining of paid fee will be refunded.
5. If student wishes to withdraw from school after enrollment, please submit a notification at least one month prior to the beginning of following new semester. In this case, we will refund the tuition fees for the unattended course on a semester basis (*3 months) upon confirmation of return to home (with proof of official documents/ submission of completion of student visa status). (*However, tuition will not be refunded for students who withdraw from school within six months of enrolment.)
6. If students are expelled due to the violation of laws or school rules, no refunds will be returned.


Short term

* Additional invitation letter fee (30,000 yen) may be required (It varies by country).
* About refund
1. If students decline to enter school after application, the paid amount excluding the bank transfer fee will be refunded (If the admission invitation was issued, the full amount will be returned excluding the fee of issuing the admission invitation and bank transfer fee).
2. For dropping out of school during the term, no matter the reason is, no refunds will be returned.

1st Grade scholarship J International School Long-term students who have completed a course for a year or more as a student at J International School. Receive full amount at the graduation ceremony. Two-year course:600,000 yen

Must meet all three requirements.
① JLPT N1 taken while studying at J International School, and its score must be higher than 170 points.
② EJU taken while studying at J International School, and Japanese language score must be higher than 380 points. (excluding "description" section)
③ 100% attendance while studying at J International School (excluding "official absence").
2nd Grade scholarship Half amount of 1st grade scholarship Must meet all three requirements.
① JLPT N1 taken while studying at J International School, and its score must be higher than 160 points.
② EJU taken while studying at J International School, and Japanese language score must be higher than 350 points. (excluding "description" section)
③ 100% attendance while studying at J International School (excluding "official absence").
3rd Grade scholarship One third amount of 1st grade scholarship Must meet all three requirements.
① JLPT N1 taken while studying at J International School, and its score must be higher than 150 points.
② EJU taken while studying at J International School, and Japanese language score must be higher than 330 points. (excluding "description" section)
③ 100% attendance while studying at J International School (excluding "official absence").
Excellent Academic & Perfect Attendance Award Two-year course:60,000 yen
One year and six months course:40,000 yen
One year course:20,000 yen
Must meet both requirements.
① All subjects score must be grade 5 (5-1 scale) while studying at J International School.
② 100% attendance while studying at J International School (excluding "official absence").
Excellent Academic Award Two-year course:30,000 yen
One year and six months course:20,000 yen
One year course:10,000 yen
All subjects score must be grade 5 (5-1 scale) while studying at J International School.
Perfect Attendance Award Two-year course:30,000 yen
One year and six months course:20,000 yen
One year course:10,000 yen
100% attendance while studying at J International School (excluding "official absence").
*1 Students who meet the requirements and have excellent learning attitudes and personalities are chosen and decided through staff meetings and interviews.
*2 A student is eligible for an award or a scholarship, cannot receive two (an award and a scholarship)
